NeoTimber is seeking a driven Sales Team Leader to head up our inbound sales department at our Leicestershire HQ. The Sales Team Leader ensures cohesion and consistency within the team, acting as the main driver of departmental performance and standards. Balancing personal sales contribution with team leadership, you'll motivate, coach, and support colleagues while handling customer enquiries yourself. This hands-on role is key to ensuring both individual and departmental sales targets are achieved while delivering excellent customer experiences.

NeoTimber's inbound sales department serve as the initial point of contact for customers and plays a vital role ensuring a positive customer experience. The department focuses on maximizing sales opportunities during customer interactions to better fulfil demand, driving revenue growth while meeting customer needs effectively. This department is central to NeoTimber's commercial growth, handling all inbound enquiries across our core product ranges, ensuring customers receive best-in-class service while maximising order values.
Roles & Responsibilities
Handle inbound sales enquiries, manage follow-ups, and oversee your own customer accounts.
Develop business opportunities from both new and dormant customers, maximising every sales opportunity.
Support with the day-to-day tracking and management of the department's CRM system, ensuring data accuracy and pipeline discipline.
Build and maintain strong relationships with both B2C and B2B clients.
Collaborate with the sales management team to establish and deliver clear individual and team sales targets.
Coach, motivate, and develop Sales Executives to achieve departmental KPIs including conversion rates, order value, and follow-up completion.
Conduct performance reviews and support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.
Monitor daily and monthly departmental performance, reporting on successes and highlighting areas for improvement.
Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and enhance the customer experience.
Maintain and build high levels of product knowledge across the team, ensuring updates are cascaded and applied consistently.
Understand competitors and market trends, feeding insights into sales strategy.
Carry out ad hoc sales projects, research, and reporting as required.
Perform other duties appropriate to the role as directed by management.
Essential Skills
Proven sales experience or strong customer service background, with the ambition to take the next step into leadership.
Ability to coach, motivate, and hold others accountable to performance standards.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage both personal sales activity and team oversight.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to influence and support team members.
Proficiency using CRM systems and a data-driven approach to tracking performance.
Conscientious approach with excellent attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to nurture customers through the sales funnel.
Salary
Base Salary: 29,000.00 - 32,000.00 per annum
