The Mohammed Laher Institute is seeking an ambitious and driven Team Leader to guide, motivate, and inspire our frontline sales and retention teams. This is an opportunity to step into a leadership role where your influence directly shapes team performance, customer outcomes, and overall success.
As a Team Leader, you will balance hands-on coaching with performance management -- ensuring targets are met while developing the next generation of sales professionals. This role demands resilience, strategic thinking, and a passion for bringing out the best in others.
Subject to successful employment checks and referencing, candidates may be offered a starting salary of 36,800.00 with the potential to earn over 50,000.00 (OTE).
Duties
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Sales Agents, providing coaching, training, and daily support.
Performance Management: Drive retention and sales results through clear KPIs, regular feedback sessions, and structured development plans.
Customer Retention Oversight: Guide the team in handling complex objections and escalations, stepping in where necessary to secure key retention outcomes.
Reporting & Analysis: Monitor team performance data, identify trends, and present insights to senior management.
Culture Building: Foster a high-performance, supportive environment where resilience, ambition, and excellence are at the heart of every call.
Collaboration: Work closely with senior leaders to align team strategies with wider organisational goals.
Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to refine scripts, systems, and retention approaches to maximise success.
Qualifications
Proven experience in sales, retention, or contact centre leadership (team leader, supervisor, or similar role).
Strong coaching and mentoring skills, with the ability to motivate individuals to exceed targets.
Excellent communication and influencing skills, both with customers and within the team.
Demonstrated resilience under pressure and ability to thrive in a high-paced environment.
Strong organisational and analytical abilities with attention to detail.
A growth mindset, proactive approach, and passion for developing people.
