About the Role


We're looking for a talented, data focussed Sales Team Manager to run our Sales & Renewals team. This is a pivotal role in driving our next phase of growth. You'll be empowered to shape the function, lead from the front, and embed a culture of customer excellence and performance.


You'll collaborate cross-functionally to craft differentiated, data-informed sales journeys--while ensuring an exceptional customer experience. As a forward thinking team, we offer the freedom to explore, build, and make a meaningful impact


Key Responsibilities


Sales & Renewals Leadership: Lead and grow our direct sales and renewals team. Own performance targets, customer acquisition, and retention strategies. Performance Excellence: Foster a high-performing team through clear goals, coaching, and continuous development. Monitor KPIs and dive success. Customer First: Ensure consistently outstanding service by optimising customer interactions and processes using CRM and service design principles. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across service, underwriting, data, and operations to identify improvements and remove inefficiencies. Compliance & Governance: Uphold regulatory standards and internal policies. Partner with compliance to ensure transparent, fair, and compliant communications. Innovation & Testing: Embrace a test-and-learn mindset to pilot new initiatives for growth and customer satisfaction.

What We're Looking For


Sales Leadership: A proven track record of driving performance in sales environments. Motivated by results and team development. Data Confidence: Able to analyse data and translate insights into actions that improve performance and service. Change Agility: Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where systems, tools, and priorities evolve regularly. Cultural Fit: Collaborative, curious, and customer-focused. A natural coach and a resilient leader Industry Knowledge: Experience with SME insurance is a plus, but not essential--we value learning agility and a growth mindset most.
