PURPOSE



The Sales Technology Analyst, Sales Insights leads our data-driven sales strategy by leveraging a deep understanding of the sales funnel performance across multiple regions and initiatives evaluating return on investment (ROI), and adding insight and performance measurement to some of our newest most exciting new initiatives.


Using raw data and maximising new AI driven conversational intelligence, the jobholder will identify trends, issues, and opportunities, transforming complex datasets into meaningful management information (MI) and automated dashboards through Microsoft's suite of tools. They will provide clear, value-adding commentary to support decision-making, helping the business identify gaps and unlock opportunities to exceed revenue and sales targets.


Key responsibilities include the accurate and timely production of weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc sales reports, driving adoption of standardised KPIs and global definitions as well as owning the tracking and reporting in relation to our deployment of our latest Sales Tech tools eg. our recently launched Gong tool (conversational intelligence tool procured to enhance our sales insights and productivity).


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Own the delivery of accurate and timely weekly, monthly and quarterly initiative tracking, using relevant measures and indicators aligned to UK&I or global strategic objectives. Deliver value-added insight through commentary and storytelling, ensuring all MI outputs--such as dashboards and scorecards--clearly communicate performance and drive action. Maintain high attention to detail, particularly for reports used in external partner governance, regulatory submissions, and sales commission calculations. Translate new reporting requirements into actionable outputs, extracting the right data from Salesforce and producing user-friendly reports or dashboards with performance-driving commentary and relevant KPIs. Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across all levels, demonstrating strong interpersonal and influencing skills to ensure alignment and engagement. Act as a trusted business partner to Sales Leaders and internal/external stakeholders, empowering them with actionable insights and strategic direction.


COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS or ABILITIES / BEHAVIOUR)

Proven experience (minimum 4 years) in Performance Analysis, with a strong understanding of the end-to-end sales funnel and its impact on business outcomes. Experience in launching AI or CRM tools and tracking performance, adoption and productivity metrics with tools such as Microsoft Power BI. Skilled in designing and delivering clear, insightful dashboards and reports, supported by performance-driving commentary and relevant KPIs. Strong data analysis and querying skills, including experience with SQL, Excel Power Query, and Power BI DAX to manipulate, transform, and extract insights from large datasets. Excellent communication skills--written, verbal, and presentation--with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 tools, including Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint. Demonstrated ability to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in complex data sets and translate findings into actionable insights. Strong time management and prioritisation skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Proactive in streamlining, automating, and innovating reporting processes, reducing manual effort and improving efficiency. Highly analytical, self-motivated, and goal-oriented, with a continuous improvement mindset and a passion for data-driven decision-making.


QUALIFICATIONS

A graduate degree or currently studying towards a relevant qualification in Business Information Systems, Mathematics, Finance, Data Science, or a related analytical discipline. Alternatively, equivalent professional experience in a data-driven role within Sales Operations, Sales Performance, or Business Intelligence. Desirable: formal training or certification in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), data analysis, or BI tools such as Power BI, SQL, or Excel Power Query.
