We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong data analysis skills and a passion for transforming raw data into actionable insights. This role is crucial for supporting decision-making processes and enhancing operational efficiency within the organisation.
As our Sales Data Analyst, you will be responsible for all aspects of forecasting and stock management for products throughout our business.
This will involve analysing current stocks held, outstanding orders, and our future requirements - all based on monitoring sales from central reports
Within this are other various tasks which include maintaining order analysis documents on Microsoft Excel, producing Stock Commitments for customers, and producing costing documents.
Duties
Collect, clean, and organise data from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Develop and maintain reports to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and provide analytical support.
Apply business analysis techniques to interpret data and provide strategic recommendations.
Update stock analysis reports and submit recommendations relating to the procurement of material
Skills
Must LOVE spreadsheets and be highly proficient across Microsoft packages, in particular Excel
Can understand and create complex Excel sheets, including the use of pivot tables and transferring data from a central workspace system
Experience using excel formulas such as VLOOKUP and LOGICAL functions
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to communicate complex data findings in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.
A team player, who can work autonomously as well as on their own
Experience in business analysis is advantageous but not essential.
