We're excited to introduce a brand-new role - we're looking for a friendly, customer-focused Sales & Travel Consultant to make it their own. Based in our Rayleigh shop, you'll be part of a close-knit team helping customers plan unforgettable holidays across the UK and beyond.

This is more than just a sales role. It's about truly getting to know your customers, understanding what they're looking for, and offering the best travel experiences to suit their needs - all while creating genuine, long-lasting relationships. Whether over the phone or face-to-face, you'll bring a positive, consultative approach to each enquiry and make every interaction count.

As this is a new role, we're looking for someone who can take ownership - setting personal goals, managing their time efficiently, and taking initiative to drive results. You'll need to be proactive in spotting new opportunities, generating leads and helping grow our customer base.

This role is ideal for someone with a sales mindset who thrives on working independently and part of a team, takes pride in delivering great service, and enjoys achieving - and exceeding - their own goals.

What you'll be doing:



Chatting with customers to understand their holiday needs and guiding them towards their perfect holiday Using our booking system to process transactions efficiently and accurately Reaching out to previous customers to re-engage Offering relevant extras and upgrades that enhance their experience Actively seeking new lead opportunities and finding ways to grow our customer base Supporting seasonal campaigns and suggesting ideas to boost bookings Visiting external organisations to promote our company and products Managing your time effectively, setting your own targets and driving performance Handling admin with care to ensure a smooth customer journey

What we're looking for:



Proven experience in sales or a customer-facing role where building relationships is key A confident communicator who genuinely enjoys helping people and influencing decisions A strong background in customer service with a focus on delivering results Proficient with Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook) Organised, self-motivated and able to manage your workload independently Proactive and creative in finding new ways to connect with potential customers

Even better if you have:



Experience in travel, hospitality or booking-based environments (though full training will be provided), and your own transport and driving licence.

Working Hours:



Monday & Tuesday 8:45am-5:15pm Saturday 9:45am-3:15pm
With potential to extend to additional weekdays.
