We are seeking a Salesforce Tester to design, execute, and document test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of Salesforce applications. The ideal candidate will work closely with development teams, business analysts, and project managers to identify defects, validate requirements, and improve Salesforce performance. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in manual and automated testing methodologies specific to the Salesforce platform.

Job Role and Responsibilities:

Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts tailored to Salesforce applications. Perform functional, regression, performance, and usability testing to identify defects and ensure Salesforce solution quality. Collaborate with Salesforce developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues related to Salesforce functionality. Document test results, report defects, and track defect resolution throughout the Salesforce development lifecycle. Implement automated testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Provar) to enhance testing efficiency for Salesforce applications. Design and execute test plans for Salesforce applications. Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies. Collaborate with development teams to understand features and functionalities. Perform regression testing to ensure new changes do not adversely affect existing functionality. Automate test scripts using testing frameworks and tools. Conduct performance and stress testing to evaluate application stability. Participate in requirement and design review meetings to provide feedback from a testing perspective.

Skills Required:

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 3+ Years' experience in Salesforce testing, quality assurance, or test automation within the Salesforce platform. Proficiency in manual and automated testing tools for Salesforce (e.g., Provar, Selenium, or JUnit for Salesforce). Strong understanding of Salesforce testing methodologies, including testing in an Agile or Scrum environment. Knowledge of Salesforce automation tools and testing frameworks, including integration testing for Salesforce Cloud, Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components. Good Knowledge on Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Bug Life Cycle (BLC). Strong experience in Agile Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, BDD and TDD. Experience in Test plan, Test data, Test Design, Test Case/Scripts, testability.

Desirable Skills for the role:

Apex?and?SOQL:?Basic knowledge of Salesforce's programming language, Apex, and its query language, SOQL, can be an asset for writing more advanced tests. Salesforce Certifications:?Certifications, such as the Salesforce Certified platform developer or Salesforce Certified Administrator, can help validate skills.
