Sales/marketing Assistant

Job Description

Playing a crucial role in our busy Sales and Marketing team, the Inside Sales Assistant will identify, generate and follow up prospective clients, drive event attendance and book appointments for the Business Development Managers to attend. This new role will form an integral part of our business growth plans.

What will your day look like?



Cold calling contacts from a prospect list to make introductions and book meetings with the Senior Management of both care homes and pharmacies for the Business Development Managers to attend Maintaining regular contact and nurture relationships with prospects by making follow-up calls. Following up on activity generated by marketing activities and networking events. Updating, cleaning and entering records into the company's CRM systems. Researching new prospects via websites and social media. Following up with recently trained customers and ensuring a smooth onboarding process. Working from our head office in Chandlers Ford, Eastleigh.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Ability to establish a rapport over the telephone Excellent communications skills (both verbal and written) Driven to achieve daily targets and be proactive Ability to be able to work to a defined sales process and methodology Previous experience of telephone sales or telemarketing Experience using a CRM system (currently using a system called One Page) Experience using Microsoft Office eg: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams
