Sales Representative - Horticulture & Floral Products

Swindon, Wiltshire (and surrounding areas)

Full-time | Office & Field-Based

Basic Salary 27k + Commission | Company Car | Laptop

We are a dynamic, growing business specialising in British-grown house plants, imported fresh flowers, and faux flowers. We sell to a wide variety of customers including retail outlets, farm shops, garden centres, florist shops, and the general public.

We're currently looking for an enthusiastic, proactive Sales Representative to join our small, passionate team. Ideally, you will have experience in the horticultural industry--but if you can demonstrate strong, transferable sales skills and the ability to quickly learn the trade, we still want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain sales of house plants to garden centres, supermarkets, farm shops, and independent retailers across Wiltshire and surrounding counties. Promote and sell fresh cut flowers and house plants to florists and similar businesses across the region. Expand our faux flower sales to retail outlets and garden centres across the UK. Book appointments, attend client meetings, and build long-term customer relationships. Work both from the office and out on the road. Provide regular updates to the Director and General Manager regarding appointments, customer feedback, and strategic sales planning.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals. Capable of working independently and managing your own schedule. A self-starter with a positive, results-driven attitude. Based within a commutable distance of Swindon, Wiltshire.
