We are seeking a dynamic and motivated

Salon Consultant

to join our team at MEGATAN, a leading tanning salon in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining the cleanliness and operation of the salon, and contributing to our online presence through engaging TikTok content. This is a multifaceted role requiring a blend of technical skills, creativity, and customer service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

Greet and assist clients with a warm, friendly attitude. Provide expert advice on tanning products and services, ensuring each client has a positive experience.

Tanning Bed Operations:

Operate tanning beds, ensuring they are functioning correctly, and assist customers with their use. Clean and sanitize beds after each use to maintain hygiene standards.

Salon Maintenance:

Maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the salon, including restocking supplies, cleaning floors, and ensuring that all equipment is in working order.

Pick & Pack Online Orders:

Efficiently process, pick, and pack online orders, ensuring accurate and timely shipment.

Content Creation:

Create engaging and on-brand TikTok content, showcasing our products, services, and salon culture. Participate in TikTok Lives to drive performance-based sales, with opportunities for commission.

Technology Use:

Utilize salon management systems, POS systems, and online platforms with ease. Quickly adapt to new technology and follow instructions for software and hardware use.

Communication:

Effectively communicate with clients, team members, and management. Follow instructions accurately and provide feedback as needed.

Punctuality:

Consistently arrive on time and be ready to contribute to the salon's operations from the start of your shift.

Sales:

Actively participate in performance-based sales initiatives during TikTok Lives and in-person interactions, with the potential to earn sales commissions.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Previous experience in a customer-facing role is preferred, especially within the beauty or tanning industry.

Technology Skills:

Proficient in using social media platforms, particularly TikTok. Comfortable with technology and able to learn new systems quickly.

Communication:

Excellent verbal communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.

Organization:

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

Creativity:

A creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging content ideas for TikTok.

Team Player:

Ability to work well in a team environment and contribute positively to the salon's atmosphere.
