The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering outstanding customer service, coaching team members to excel in both service and sales, and ensuring our high standards are consistently met across every client interaction.

Purpose of the Role



As a Salon Supervisor, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the Salon Manager to ensure an exceptional customer experience and the smooth day-to-day operations of the salon. You'll help drive business growth by working towards KPIs, generating sales, and encouraging the team to upsell and cross-sell treatments effectively. In addition, you'll motivate, coach, and develop the team to maintain high hygiene and service standards and consistently deliver outstanding results, ensuring the salon operates at its very best.

Key Responsibilities



Supporting the Salon Manager in achieving operational and business goals. Welcome customers warmly, creating a friendly and professional environment that encourages repeat visits. Supervise and support Front of House Assistants to ensure consistent service quality coaching the team to deliver excellent customer service and maximize sales opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring repeat business promoting loyalty and repeat business through exceptional service and targeted upselling. Drive sales by upselling tanning products, packages, and beauty treatments, and encourage the team to cross-sell effectively. Ensuring daily targets are being managed and supported with initiatives and training where store teams may fall behind. Manage phone and in-person bookings for sunbeds and treatments. Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming salon environment. Maintain salon cleanliness and presentation standards using daily checklists. Ensure all tanning beds, tools, and equipment are clean, safe, and in good working order. Oversee stock control, including inventory tracking and product expiry checks. Enforce strict sanitisation and maintenance procedures throughout the salon. Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and support continuous improvement contributing to greater outputs Train and motivate the team on sales techniques, customer service excellence, and product knowledge. Ensure full compliance with all health and safety regulations and salon policies while maintaining high service standards. Monitor UV levels and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Conduct pre-tanning consultations to recommend suitable treatments and products, enhancing the client experience and driving additional revenue. Become an expert at our booking booking systems and processes. Sharing knowledge with the teams to optimise efficiencies and customer experience. Manage phone and in-person bookings for sunbeds and treatments, ensuring maximum occupancy and efficiency. Ensure all tanning beds, tools, and equipment are clean, safe, and fully operational, supporting client satisfaction and repeat business. Support the Salon Manager in executing promotions, campaigns, and special offers to increase sales and attract new clients.

What We're Looking For



A people-person who thrives in a face-to-face, customer-focused environment. Strong communication skills and a naturally approachable, friendly attitude. IT literate (training will be provided). Works well under pressure and in a fast-paced, high-energy setting. Previous experience in customer service or sales, ideally within beauty, wellness, or retail. Experience supervising or managing a team, with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop staff. A positive, proactive team player with strong attention to detail. Confident in driving business growth through upselling, cross-selling, and promoting treatments and products. Goal-oriented, with a focus on meeting KPIs and contributing to the overall success of the salon. Passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences while maintaining high standards of service and presentation.
