We are looking for a confident, organised, and people-focused Salon Supervisor to take charge of the front-of-house & salon operations in our busy, prestige salon. You will be the welcoming face of the business, ensuring every client enjoys a seamless, five-star experience from start to finish.
Your role will combine reception management, booking/appointment coordination, marketing and social media planning, and team motivation and support. You'll also take ownership of our retail shop and product sales, championing our professional ranges and ensuring both clients and the team are inspired by your expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Front of House & Reception
Greet and look after every client with warmth, professionalism, and care.
Manage the salon booking system and appointment schedule efficiently.
Handle phone, email, and online enquiries promptly and politely.
Oversee client check-ins, rebooking's, and payments.
Maintain the reception and waiting area to the highest presentation standards.
Manage and resolve customer complaints with empathy and efficiency, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
Retail & Product Champion
Be the champion of our salon's retail offering, promoting products with confidence and enthusiasm.
Oversee the retail shop, including stock rotation, merchandising, and display presentation.
Conduct personalised retail consultations to recommend the best products for clients.
Support the team in developing strong product knowledge and retail confidence.
Track and report on retail sales performance, identifying opportunities for growth.
Marketing, Social Media & Promotions
Create engaging, on-brand social media content across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
Coordinate promotional campaigns and email newsletters to drive bookings and sales.
Collaborate with the Salon Directors to plan marketing initiatives, seasonal offers, client engagement strategies and in-salon events
Team Support & Motivation
Foster a positive, collaborative, and motivated team culture.
Ensure all team members feel valued, supported, and recognised for their contributions.
Encourage professional growth by supporting access to training and ongoing development.
Liaise with training providers and colleges to coordinate apprenticeships and continuous learning opportunities.
Assist the Salon Directors with recruitment, onboarding, and performance feedback.
Lead effective team communication to ensure everyone is informed, aligned, and inspired.
Administration & Coordination
Oversee the daily operations and smooth running of the salon floor.
Create and manage staff schedules and rotas.
Handle administrative tasks such as reporting, stock management, and supplier coordination.
Support the Salon Directors with operational planning and any other duties as required.
Skills & Experience Required
Previous experience in a salon, spa, or front-of-house leadership role.
Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
Confident using booking systems, social media, and Microsoft Office tools.
Passionate about the salon industry, client experience, and team development.
Professional, proactive, and calm under pressure.
