Job Description

HRGO Recruitment is seeking a Samples Operative to join our client's leading fabric design business, renowned for offering luxury wallpapers and accessories to customers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Pick and cut stock to fulfil sample orders, checking for quality and paying due regard to health and safety requirements
  • Record information in written form and on the computer system and use the system to manage the ordering and distribution of samples
  • Manual handling of stock, utilising two man lifts and sack trucks where appropriate
  • Assisting with the picking, labelling, packing and shipping of samples to customers
  • General department administrative tasks including post room duties
  • Assist with maintenance duties for the site
Essential Skills:
  • Ability to drive the company vans between sites, preferred but not essential
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Problem solving skills and the ability to work independently.
