Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Samples Technician to join our team at Lionel Hitchen Ltd. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient production and distribution of high-quality flavour samples to our customers. Located in the rural village of Barton Stacey in Hampshire, you will contribute significantly to our mission of delivering exceptional products to the food and beverage industry.

Responsibilities

Administration, coordination and preparation of sample requests and accompanying paperwork. Liaison with Sales, Customer Services, Logistics, Creative Solutions, Quality Control and Production teams in order to expedite sample requests. Mixing, packaging and labelling of prepared samples to meet legal transport requirements (Successful candidates will be trained in IATA) Responsible for maintaining a comprehensive and up to date library of products, ensuring they are within shelf life for speedy sampling. Responsible for ensuring The Sample Lab's Hygiene is in keeping with BRCGS/GMP requirements/regulations.

Requirements

Excellent working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience of using ERP systems Accurate record keeping skills and raw material stock accuracy Ability to prioritise workloads Ability to weigh accurately and good numeric skills with a strong attention to detail Handling / manufacturing products and raw materials by complying with the information within the MSDS's, risk and COSHH assessments. Good laboratory hygiene, organisational and administrative skills Ability to communicate to all levels of the business
