Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality sandwiches and hospitality platters. Your attention to detail and commitment to food safety will play a crucial role in creating delicious food.
Duties
Prepare a variety of sandwiches according to established recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards. Assist in the food preparation process, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored. Manage time effectively to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders during peak hours. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and a positive working environment. Conduct basic math calculations for portioning ingredients and managing stock levels.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred, particularly in food preparation or culinary roles. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices is essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods. Basic culinary skills and knowledge of sandwich-making techniques are advantageous.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 16 - 20 per week
Work Location: In person
