We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. You will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.

Duties

Prepare a variety of sandwiches and wraps according to customer specifications and menu standards. Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and prepared in accordance with food safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Assist in managing inventory levels, ensuring that all necessary supplies are available for daily operations. Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and upsell menu items when appropriate. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours while adhering to time management practices. Follow basic maths skills to accurately measure ingredients and manage portion sizes.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential. Strong culinary skills with an understanding of food preparation techniques. Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is highly desirable. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work well as part of a team and provide help where needed. A positive attitude towards customer service with the ability to upsell effectively.
