Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of sandwiches and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. You will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu guidelines. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the food preparation process. Ensure the kitchen area is clean, organised, and well-stocked with necessary supplies. Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and upsell additional items. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using basic maths skills. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods. Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Basic understanding of food safety practices and procedures. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. A willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing menus or customer preferences.

This job will include a mixture of days/evenings AND weekends

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week
