Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Hand to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in food preparation, ensuring that our customers receive high-quality sandwiches and exceptional service. This position requires a passion for food, an understanding of food safety practices, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Duties

Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to established recipes, assemble salad pots and buffets to a high standard. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including slicing vegetables. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and effective communication.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not essential. Basic culinary skills with an understanding of food preparation techniques. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team. A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From 13.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
