Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of delicious sandwiches while ensuring high standards of food safety and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food preparation and have experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment.

Hours Mon - Thursday 06.30 am - 10.30 am

Friday 06.30 -12 midday

Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and food preparation areas. Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies. Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and upsell menu items. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods.

Requirements

Previous experience in food preparation or a similar role within a restaurant setting is preferred. Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations. Basic culinary skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely service delivery. Ability to engage with customers effectively, demonstrating strong serving skills. Kitchen experience is an advantage, along with familiarity in upselling techniques.
