Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of sandwiches and ensuring that all food items meet our high standards of quality and safety. You will play a crucial role in delivering excellent customer service while maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu guidelines Ensure all food preparation adheres to food safety standards and regulations Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils Assist in managing inventory levels, including ordering supplies as needed Engage with customers, taking their orders accurately and efficiently Upsell additional menu items to enhance the customer experience Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations Perform basic math calculations for portioning ingredients and managing stock

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary practices Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively Ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members Experience in upselling products is an advantage

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour
