Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu standards. Maintain food safety and hygiene standards throughout the preparation process. Assist customers with their orders, including upselling additional items when appropriate. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Keep the kitchen area clean and organised, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the kitchen. Monitor stock levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies need replenishing.

Experience

Previous experience in a culinary or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment is advantageous. Basic maths skills are necessary for handling orders and managing inventory. A willingness to learn and help others in the team is essential for success in this role. Knowledge of food safety regulations is beneficial for maintaining high standards in food preparation.
