In this role, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of delicious sandwiches while ensuring high standards of food safety and hygiene. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, collaborating with fellow team members to deliver exceptional service to our customers. Duties

Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, slicing meats, and preparing sauces. Handle food items safely and efficiently, adhering to all health and safety regulations. Engage with customers to provide excellent service, including upselling menu items when appropriate. Manage time effectively to ensure timely preparation of orders during peak hours. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and support each other in daily tasks.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation or a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential. Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous. Basic maths skills for managing orders and inventory are required. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting. A friendly attitude with the ability to help customers make informed choices about their meals. Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic restaurant atmosphere.

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 35 per week
