Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of delicious sandwiches while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and a knack for providing excellent customer service.

Duties

Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, slicing meats, and preparing sauces. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Upsell additional items to customers to enhance their dining experience. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen. Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management as needed.

Skills

Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders in a fast-paced environment. Culinary skills with experience in food preparation and kitchen operations preferred. Familiarity with restaurant practices and procedures is advantageous. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing inventory. Knowledge of food safety standards and practices to ensure a safe working environment. Excellent communication skills to provide help and support to customers effectively.
