We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of sandwiches, ensuring that each creation meets our high standards of quality and presentation. You will work in a fast-paced environment, where attention to detail and a passion for food are essential. Your ability to engage with customers and provide excellent service will contribute to an enjoyable dining experience.

Duties

Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to specific recipes and customer preferences. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the preparation process. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and upselling additional items when appropriate. Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored, conducting regular checks on stock levels. Keep the kitchen area clean and organised, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods. Perform basic maths calculations for portioning ingredients and managing inventory.

Skills

Strong culinary skills with a passion for food preparation. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Experience in upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and sales. Ability to work efficiently in a kitchen environment while managing time effectively. Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and inventory management. Excellent communication skills to assist customers effectively and work as part of a team. Previous experience in a restaurant or similar setting is advantageous but not essential.
