Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of delicious sandwiches while ensuring high standards of food safety and quality. Your culinary skills and attention to detail will contribute to creating an exceptional dining experience for our customers.

Duties

Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, slicing meats, and preparing sauces. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders accurately and efficiently. Upsell additional items to enhance the customer's meal experience. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods. Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as needed. Follow proper hygiene practices and maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations. Basic math skills for handling transactions and portioning ingredients. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Culinary experience is an advantage but not essential; training will be provided. A passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality service are essential.
