We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our busy food establishment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious sandwiches and ensuring excellent customer service. Responsibilities

Prepare a variety of sandwiches according to established recipes and customer preferences Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the sandwich preparation area in accordance with food safety regulations Serve customers promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience Manage multiple orders efficiently during busy periods, demonstrating effective time management skills Upsell additional items such as drinks, sides, or desserts to maximise sales opportunities Follow all food safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures Assist with stock replenishment and inventory checks as needed Ensure all equipment is operated safely and maintained properly

Experience

Previous experience in food preparation or within a restaurant environment is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices is advantageous Experience in serving customers with friendly professionalism is desirable Basic maths skills are necessary for handling cash transactions and portion control Kitchen or culinary experience will be considered an asset Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively during peak hours are essential A proactive attitude towards upselling and enhancing the customer experience is highly valued
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week
