Wasps are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Link Club Manager to oversee the daily operations of our club. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and providing a thriving childcare setting. This role requires effective team management, organisational abilities, and a keen understanding of the Early Years Framework and enhanced levels of safeguarding practice. As a Club Manager, you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive environment for both staff and members while driving the club's success.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the club team, ensuring high levels of motivation and performance.
Oversee daily operations, including staffing, registers, collection procedures and quality nutrition.
Ensure effective planning meets the needs of all the children who attend the setting.
Work effectively with the host school to ensure the service runs smoothly. Build positive relationships with key people in school to enhance the delivery further.
Maintain excellent standards by training staff in effective playwork and communication skills.
Ensure the setting is inclusive to all.
Monitor financial performance and expense control.
Organise promotional events to enhance the club and attract new customers.
Ensure compliance with Ofsted, council, safeguarding and health and safety regulations within the club environment.
Foster a welcoming atmosphere by addressing member concerns promptly and effectively.
Qualifications
Proven experience in management or a similar role is essential.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
Effective communication skills.
Familiarity with administrative tasks related to club operations.
A commitment to providing outstanding childcare and customer service.
Enhanced DBS check
Knowledge of safeguarding expectation for children within the age range.
