We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sash Window and Door Fitter to join our team. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and restoration of timber sash windows and doors in residential and commercial properties across London.

The ideal candidate will have not only the technical expertise and experience required to work on sash windows and doors, but also a positive, can-do attitude. You must be a natural problem solver who can think on your feet to overcome challenges and deliver exceptional results. Attention to detail is key, as we take pride in maintaining an excellent finished product on every job.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, friendly, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Your ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship is crucial to our continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

Install and repair timber sash windows and doors upholding the highest quality standards. Restore and refurbish timber sash windows, including repairing or replacing sash cords and hardware. General Carpentry: Apply your carpentry skills to various tasks, contributing to the overall completion of the job. Maintain a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail to achieve quality results. Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with building codes and regulations. Communicate effectively with clients, making sure clients are satisfied at every step of the project. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Keep accurate records of work performed.

Requirements:

Proven experience in the installation and restoration of sash windows and doors. Must be reliable and punctual. Strong carpentry skills and proficiency with hand and power tools. Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights. Valid UK driving license. Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Experience:

Minimum 3 years in a similar role (preferred)

Additional:

Any relevant certifications related to window installation or restoration (if applicable).

Schedule: Monday to Friday- 8 hours (Saturday work available)

Location: On-site, various locations across London and the surrounding areas
