We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. This role involves preparing high-quality sandwiches in a fast-paced environment, ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining food safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a keen eye for detail, contributing to a welcoming and efficient service experience for our customers.

Duties

Prepare a variety of sandwiches according to company recipes and customer specifications Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and used in accordance with food safety guidelines Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and work surfaces Serve customers efficiently, taking orders accurately and providing friendly assistance Upsell additional menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales opportunities Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service delivery Assist with stock replenishment and inventory checks as required Follow all health and safety regulations diligently to uphold hygiene standards

Experience

Previous experience in food preparation or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential; training will be provided Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards is advantageous Experience in serving customers with professionalism and courtesy is desirable Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions and portion control Kitchen or culinary experience will be considered an asset, especially familiarity with fast-paced food service settings Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently while maintaining quality standards Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximise sales opportunities

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 3,300.00-5,000.00 per year
