Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic

Level 2 Gymnastics Coach

, qualified under

British Gymnastics (BG)

and/or the

Independent Gymnastics Association (IGA)

, to join our coaching team. This role involves delivering high-quality sessions in line with national standards, supporting gymnasts' progression, and maintaining a positive, safe training environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate gymnastics sessions in accordance with BG and/or IGA standards. Support the development and progression of gymnasts from beginner to advanced levels. Ensure sessions are inclusive, safe, and aligned with safeguarding best practices. Evaluate gymnast performance and provide constructive feedback. Assist with club events, displays, assessments, and competitions where required. Complete necessary administrative tasks (e.g. registers, progress tracking). Communicate effectively with gymnasts, parents, and team members.

Requirements:

Level 2 British Gymnastics and/or Level 2 IGA Coaching qualification (minimum requirement). Valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one). Up-to-date safeguarding and first aid training (or willingness to complete). Experience coaching children and/or young people in a structured gymnastics setting. A positive, professional attitude with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

Desirable:

Experience working with gymnasts with additional needs (SEN). Availability to work evenings and/or weekends. Experience in competition preparation or choreography.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 13.20-25.00 per hour
