Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Football Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sports coaching and teaching, with the ability to inspire and develop players of various skill levels. This role involves not only training grassroots players but also fostering teamwork, discipline, and a love for the game.

Duties

Develop and implement training programmes that enhance players' skills. Conduct regular practice sessions, focusing on both individual and team development. Create a positive and inclusive team environment that encourages participation and growth. Organise and lead competitive matches, ensuring adherence to rules and sportsmanship. Collaborate with other coaching staff to develop strategies for team success. Maintain communication with parents regarding player progress and team activities. Ensure all equipment is maintained in good condition and that safety protocols are followed.

Experience

Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly in football, is essential. A background in teaching or mentoring young athletes is highly desirable. Strong understanding of football tactics, techniques, and training methodologies. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage players effectively. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the training schedule. Sessions take place on the new 4G pitch at Eastwood Leisure Centre in Sherewater.

Session 1: 9-10am , U7-8 Session 2: 10 - 11:30am, U9
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 14.93-32.74 per hour

Expected hours: 3.5 per week
