Somerlap Forest Products Ltd, a timber production company in Mark, near Highbridge in Somerset.
This position is
working every other Saturday, 8.00am- 12.30pm
. The working pattern will generally include every other Saturday morning, though additional Saturday mornings may be required to cover staff holidays and sickness.
What will I be doing?
Dealing with customers on the telephone and over the counter sales.
Maintaining the tidiness and presentation of the retail areas (including the furniture display and outdoor sections), restocking as needed, printing brochures and price lists, and ensuring all items are clearly and accurately priced.
Other office duties when required.
What skills do you need?
Excellent communication, organisation, and works well in a team.
Experience with computerised till system an advantage but training will be given.
Microsoft computer experience.
High level of customer service skills.
Sales experience desirable.
Adaptable and proactive.
Self-motivated individual who takes initiative.
Experience in garden product manufacturing and the timber industry or similar skills an advantage.
