Role Purpose

To support the smooth and efficient running of the Sandwich Bar by providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving food and drinks, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare the Sandwich Bar for opening, ensuring all service and customer areas are clean, stocked, and ready for trade. Prepare, store, and maintain food and drink ingredients in line with company procedures and food safety standards. Prepare and serve hot drinks, hot pastries, sandwiches, hot food, and other snack items in accordance with available stock. Assist with receiving, checking, and storing stock, ensuring accurate record keeping where required. Handle cash transactions and till receipts accurately, ensuring the security of the cash register at all times. Deliver excellent customer service, using effective customer care skills to promote customer satisfaction and well-being. Maintain positive customer relations and represent the company in a professional manner at all times. Keep the workstation clean, hygienic, tidy, and well organised throughout the shift. Carry out daily cleaning of preparation areas and equipment. Participate in daily and weekly deep cleaning tasks, completing all relevant cleaning and safety paperwork. Support a positive, respectful, and cooperative working environment.

Friendly and approachable manner Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Basic cash handling experience (training provided if required) Awareness of food hygiene and safety standards Welsh language is not essential but desirable

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 5.5 per week
