Job Title: Sausage Manufacturer / Meat production operative

Salary:

32,000 - 37,000 (based on experience, skill level, and successful completion of probation)

Location:

Leith, Edinburgh (with very occasional work at our retail shop on Broughton Street)

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced sausage maker to join our dedicated team at our production facility in Leith. You'll play a key role in all aspects of sausage and product production, contributing to both wholesale and retail operations. Key Responsibilities:

Production of all sausage and sausage products from start to finish Production of value-added meat products Occasional help in preparation of pastry-based products such as sausage rolls and Scotch pies Stock management, ingredient ordering, and general workflow organisation Ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness at all times Supporting retail operations as required

What We're Looking For:

A butcher or meat operative with experience of producing sausage products and recipe formulation. Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards A clean, organised, and efficient working style Solid references demonstrating previous success in a similar role

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 6:30am - 4:30pm (or 6:00am - 4:00pm). Some flexibility may be required during peak periods.
