Job Title: Sawmill Labourer/Machine Operator

Schedule: 8 Hour Monday to Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

Salary: National Living Wage

Start Date: Immediate

*Own transport is essential due to location.

Who We Are Looking For:

We are looking for a hardworking, physically fit individual who is reliable and has positive work ethics and able to work as part of a team. We need an individual who will take pride in their work and pay great attention to detail. The ideal candidate would have previous experience of working within a sawmill setting, however, this is not essential as full training will be provided.

Your Role:

The successful candidate will be labouring, operating saws and machinery, stacking/sorting timber, keeping the site clean and tidy and able to be flexible and willing to learn and train in other departments as and when demand dictates.

Who We Are:

Teifi Timber Products Ltd is a family owned, independent home-grown timber sawmill based in Llanllwni, Carmarthenshire, supplying sawn timber for a wide variety of uses, principally in the outdoor, agriculture and garden products, fencing, landscaping, DIY and pallet and packaging sectors. We have invested heavily in state-of-the-art sawmill equipment in the last decade and have plans to develop further production facilities in the next few years to meet consistent and growing demand.
