The role

You will operate and programme CNC and waterjet machinery for the production of bespoke stone components--delivering precise, on-time work to the highest finish standards.

Key responsibilities

Programme and operate

CNC

and

waterjet

machines to approved drawings and tolerances. Set up tooling/fixtures; optimise feeds, speeds and nesting for time-efficient cutting. Carry out

visual and dimensional QC

checks; record and sign off against job sheets. Identify and report

defective material

or machine issues; perform daily/weekly maintenance. Safely use hand-held power tools (grinders, polishers, wet saws) for finishing tasks. Keep work areas clean, organised and compliant with H&S procedures. Work to

tight deadlines

and production targets, coordinating with production and installation teams.

What you'll bring

3-5+ years

as a sawyer/machine operator & programmer (stone fabrication preferred). Competence with CNC/waterjet programming (e.g., CAD/CAM nesting, toolpaths). Technical/accredited qualification or equivalent practical experience. Confident working with

marble, granite, onyx, quartzite

and composite stone. Strong communication, teamwork, organisation and

attention to detail
