Key Responsibilities
Program and operate CNC waterjet cutting machines to produce high-quality components
Read and interpret technical drawings, CAD files and customer specifications
Prepare materials, set up jobs, and monitor cutting operations
Carry out routine machine checks, maintenance and troubleshooting
Inspect completed parts to ensure accuracy, tolerances and quality standards are met
Work closely with production, engineering and quality teams to support workflow
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Skills & Experience Required
Previous experience as a waterjet operator/programmer (ideally 2+ years)
Strong understanding of CNC programming, nesting software and material optimisation
Ability to read technical/engineering drawings
Experience with sheet metal, fabrication or precision engineering (advantageous)
Good attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
