Are you ready to take ownership of a crucial operational role in a fast-paced operational setting? We're seeking a confident and capable SCADA Controller to join our team within our Grain Terminal Control Room. If you thrive on autonomy, problem-solving, and keeping systems running smoothly, this is the ideal role for you!
Your Role
Reporting to the Deputy Business Unit Manager, you will operate the site conveying network system and vessel discharge processes using SCADA and Commtrac systems. You will make real time decisions to ensure smooth and efficient operations as well as maintaining oversight of stock control and inventory.
You will work collaboratively with customers and third party agents while supporting the wider team in the control room.
Whilst the control room will be your primary function, you will also be required to support the stevedoring team where necessary. This may include the discharging of vessels using various items of plant. Full training will be provided.
What you'll bring
You will have:
experience in an industrial or operational environment
a high level of
computer literacy
, particularly with Microsoft Office
solid understanding of
automated plant systems
or
conveyor belts
strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task
ideally familiarity with how
elevators and conveyors
integrate in system workflows
ideally prior exposure to SCADA or similar control systems
