Our team is composed of experienced Temporary Works Engineers and Scaffold Designers who are passionate about delivering excellence in engineering.
Role Overview:
We're currently seeking an experienced
Scaffold Design Engineer
to help strengthen our team. The successful candidate will take ownership of scaffold schemes from concept through to delivery, working on international offshore oil and gas platforms and vessels an additional to other heavy engineering schemes.
What you'll do
Produce structural calculations, drawings and design risk assessments to
BS 5975

EN 12811

NASC TG20/TG30
, and project specs.
Advise on tie patterns, foundations, stability/overturning, uplift, debris netting & sheeting, and interaction with other temporary works and permanent works elements.
Present designs and methodologies to clients and site teams and carry out site visits when required.
Contribute to internal standards, QA, and low carbon design options.
What you'll bring
Degree or HNC in Civil/Structural Engineering (or strong relevant experience).
demonstrable scaffold design experience

strong temporary works/structural background with the drive to specialise.
Working knowledge of

(procedure & roles), wind loading, and stability checks.
Proficiency with design and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD/ BricsCAD; analysis tools; spreadsheets etc).
Clear communicator, comfortable leading client conversations and solving problems on site.
