with previous experience in Scaffolding to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and personnel safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle operation, adherence to safety protocols, and excellent organisational skills. The Driver/Labourer will play a vital part in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining positive relationships with clients and colleagues alike and providing labour support when required.
Responsibilities
Safely operate company vehicles, including vans and lorries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Plan routes effectively to ensure punctual deliveries and pickups at potentially multiple sites.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
Load and unload goods with care, ensuring items are secured properly for transit.
Assist with loading or unloading, using appropriate manual handling techniques.
Assist scaffolders with labouring and site prep
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times during operations.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Commit to a 45 hour working week
Skills
Proven experience in driving vehicles with a valid Class 2 Licence.
Excellent knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations within the area.
Strong organisational skills to plan efficient routes and manage schedules effectively.
Good communication skills for liaising with clients and team members professionally.
Strong work ethic and good timekeeping
Experience in Scaffolding is Essential
