Overview

We are seeking a Scaffold Builder/Labourer with a driving license to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the assembly, maintenance, and disassembly of scaffolding structures on various construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of safety protocols and the ability to work collaboratively with other tradespeople. The Scaffold Builder/Labourer will play a crucial role in ensuring that all scaffolding is secure and compliant with industry standards.

Responsibilities

Assemble and dismantle scaffolding structures according to project specifications and safety regulations. Fabricate scaffolding components using hand tools and power tools as required. Ensure that all scaffolding is plumb, level, and structurally sound before use. Collaborate with carpenters, masons, electricians, and painters to facilitate smooth workflow on-site. Conduct regular inspections of scaffolding for safety compliance and perform necessary repairs or adjustments. Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency. Follow all health and safety guidelines while working at heights or in potentially hazardous environments.

Experience

Proven experience in scaffold building or a related construction field is preferred. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques is essential. Knowledge of roofing practices, masonry work, electrical installations, or painting will be advantageous. Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings related to scaffold design. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship. Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and other trades on-site. Have a valid driving license.
