Weare looking for an experienced scaffolder who has progressed into managementand is ready to take responsibility for their own sites, workforce and localarea. This is a hands-on, site-based role, leading from the front not anoffice-based position. However our head office is based in Ferrybridge.


THEROLE


Youwill run your own scaffolding sites on a day-to-day basis, organising work,managing scaffolders and keeping programmes on track. You will deal directlywith client site managers and report into Senior Management, working as part ofa wider, supportive scaffolding team.


Thisrole suits someone who knows scaffolding inside out, understands howconstruction sites really operate, and can manage people and programmes as wellas the work itself.


WHATYOULL BE DOING

Runningand coordinating your own scaffolding sites and local area and to clientexpectations Managingscaffold and scaffolders on site, working to client and business specifications Planningand organising works to suit site programmes Maintaininga strong on-site presence to ensure safety, quality and productivity Ensuringall scaffolding works are carried out under Health & Safety guidelines and inspectedto ensure correct procedures are followed Liaisingdirectly with client site management teams Resolvingissues as they arise and keeping work moving Workingin line with company standards and Senior Management direction

WHATWERE LOOKING FOR

Strongscaffolding background with experience in a supervisory or management role Goodworking knowledge of Layher / system scaffolding Confidentmanaging men and making day-to-day site decisions Organised,reliable, and able to plan ahead Goodcommunication, straight-talking, team-focused attitude BasicIT skills for planning, emails, and reporting

Fulltraining and support will be provided to help you settle into the role andprogress within the business.
