Overview

We are seeking a skilled Scaffolder (part 2 ) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing, erecting, and dismantling scaffolding structures at various job sites. This role requires a strong understanding of safety protocols and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment. The Scaffold Builder will play a crucial role in ensuring that scaffolding is safe and secure for use by other trades.

Responsibilities

Construct and erect scaffolding systems according to specifications and safety regulations. Dismantle scaffolding structures upon project completion, ensuring all materials are accounted for and stored properly. Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure scaffolding meets their requirements for access and safety. Perform inspections of scaffolding to ensure structural integrity and compliance with safety standards. Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment as necessary for fabrication and assembly tasks. Assist in the painting and finishing of scaffold components as required. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times.

Qualifications

Proven experience in scaffold building or a related construction field is preferred. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding techniques is essential. Familiarity with electrical systems, masonry work, roofing, plumbing, and carpentry will be advantageous. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to construction sites. Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings is beneficial. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively on-site. A commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety practices.
