Allsafe Scaffolding are looking to grow their management team with the appointment of a Project Manager. One of the primary aspects of the role will involve working closely with an existing customer.

Ideal Candidate



Manage the delivery of scaffolding works for Allsafe Scaffolding on a major project in Oxford. The contract is due to run for the next 3 years. The role requires leading site delivery of the scaffold package, ensuring compliance with health & safety standards, coordinating with the principal contractor, and delivering works on time, on budget, and to quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities



Health & Safety



Ensure scaffolding activities are carried out safely in accordance with TG20:21, SG4, design and site-specific RAMS. Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and audits to enforce compliance with Allsafe and main contractor standards. Actively drive a "safety-first" culture across all scaffolding operations.

Planning & Delivery



Develop and monitor scaffold programmes in line with project requirements. Coordinate scaffold erection, adaptation, and dismantling to meet site access needs. Work closely with construction teams to sequence scaffold works effectively.

Stakeholder Management



Act as the primary liaison between Allsafe Scaffolding and site management. Manage day-to-day communication with client representatives, site supervisors, and other subcontractors. Attend site progress meetings, presenting scaffold updates, risks, and mitigation strategies.

Quality & Compliance



Ensure scaffolding structures are erected to specification, drawings, and statutory requirements. Maintain accurate records of inspections, handover certificates, and scaffold tags. Work with scaffold design engineers where bespoke solutions are required.

Commercial & Reporting



Track scaffold labour, materials, and variations for reporting to Allsafe senior management. Support commercial team with valuations, claims, and change management. Provide weekly progress and cost reports to demonstrate package performance.

Skills & Experience



Essential



Previous experience managing scaffolding packages on large construction projects. Strong knowledge of scaffolding systems, legislation, and best practice (CISRS background desirable). Proven track record in subcontractor/client coordination on Tier 1 contractor sites. Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to read drawings, scaffold designs, and construction programmes.

Desirable



SMSTS or IOSH Managing Safely. CISRS Advanced Scaffolder or Supervisor qualification. Experience working with Tier 1 principal contractors. Familiarity with digital reporting tools (e.g., Fieldview, Snagmaster, Asite).

Salary will be highly renumerated depending on experience and attributes. Or contract basis

Pay: 48,000.00-55,000.00 per year
