Scaffolding Supervisor

Quoile Services Limited is seeking to recruit an experienced and proactive Scaffolding Supervisor to oversee scaffolding operations on a large-scale manufacturing facility construction project in Ayrshire. The successful candidate will work with the principal scaffolding contractor to ensure that scaffolding works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant regulations and project specifications.

Scaffolding Supervisor Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and support scaffolding teams on-site.

Ensure scaffolding is erected, modified, and dismantled in accordance with design specifications and safety standards.

Conduct daily inspections of scaffolding structures and maintain accurate records.

Liaise with site management, contractors, and safety officers to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery.

Monitor and enforce health and safety compliance, including PPE usage and working at height protocols.

Ensure principal contractor is correctly managing scaffolding materials, inventory, and logistics.

Provide toolbox talks and on-site training where necessary.

Assist in risk assessments and method statements related to scaffolding activities.

Report incidents, near misses, and safety concerns promptly.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Scaffolding Supervisor on large construction projects.

Valid CISRS Advanced Scaffolder or Supervisor card.

Strong knowledge of scaffolding systems, regulations, and best practices.

Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Ability to read and interpret scaffolding drawings and plans.

Familiarity with site safety protocols and construction site operations.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: 60,000.00-70,000.00 per year
