The Role:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced

Yard Foreman

to oversee the daily operations of our busy scaffolding yard. This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership, organisational skills, and a solid understanding of scaffolding equipment and logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the loading, unloading, organising, and dispatching of scaffolding materials

Supervise yard staff and coordinate their daily duties

Ensure all yard operations are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company procedures

Maintain accurate records of stock levels, deliveries, and returns

Inspect scaffolding equipment for damage or wear and report defects

Liaise with site teams to coordinate material requirements and delivery schedules

Uphold high standards of health & safety and cleanliness within the yard

Requirements:

Previous experience in a scaffolding or construction yard environment (foreman or supervisory level preferred)

Sound knowledge of scaffolding components and safe handling practices

Forklift licence desirable (not essential)

Strong organisational and communication skills

Reliable, punctual, and capable of leading a small team

Commitment to health & safety standards
