CDS Scheduler




Based in the Coventry or Leicester areas, with a hybrid working arrangement, we are seeking a CDS Scheduler to join our Gas Surveying Team. In this role, you will coordinate surveys that require access to private land and property, supporting critical gas infrastructure projects. You will work closely with survey teams, project managers, and clients to ensure efficient scheduling and smooth delivery of survey operations within a company that values precision, communication, and professional development. You must be willing to work flexibly and adapt to varying project requirements.

Our successful candidate will be responsible for a range of duties, including, but not limited to the following:



Communicate project requirements effectively with landowners, proprietors, and internal teams Schedule surveys in a logistically efficient manner, optimising routes and resources Maintain and update planning databases with accurate access and appointment information Monitor, prioritise, and group monthly work requests for efficient survey operations Liaise daily with managers, supervisors, and surveyors to ensure smooth workflow Manage incoming work spreadsheets and ensure timely updates to scheduling records Create daily, weekly, and monthly survey plans in line with project objectives Provide support to Project Managers with additional scheduling and planning needs Communicate professionally with external clients when required Ensure all records and databases are maintained with accuracy and confidentiality

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:



Experience in scheduling, planning, or administrative coordination Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills Strong verbal and written communication abilities Proactive and self-motivated approach to problem-solving Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Attention to detail and logical thinking Deadline-driven and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

It is desirable, that you also have some or all of the following:



Experience with database management or scheduling software Previous cold calling or client liaison experience Customer service or call centre background
