We are looking to a recruit a self-motivated individual, who would like to join our Supply Chain Team as a Scheduler (Packaging and Ingredients)
The Candidate:
We are looking for a candidate who is a self-starting, motivated individual with great eye for detail and fantastic organisational skills. Excellent problem-solving skills and fantastic written and verbal communication will be critical. You will be required to work individually and as part of a team. Therefore, as an individual and within the Team, you need to be proactive and hands on - driven by a desire to ensure that all key tasks and responsibilities are fulfilled and that the best possible results are achieved for both customers and internal stakeholders. Bradburys is a fast-paced environment so being able to respond with speed, confidence and clarity will be a necessity. IT skills will be desirable, but training will be provided. Some experience within a FMCG business is desirable but not essential.
The Role:
Full time position 40 hours per week on site.
Key tasks
Use Bradburys ERP system Syspro to enter purchase orders for packaging and ingredients.
Utilise current usage reports to identify packaging requirements for the business.
Be the dedicated Supply Chain contact for specific customers, liaising with Bradburys Cheese colleagues and customer Supply Chain contacts.
Other responsibilities (not exhaustive)
Work alongside the two cheese Schedulers to ensure availability of components for production jobs.
Liaise with suppliers and Procurement team to ensure timely receipt of materials.
Work alongside stock control team to ensure accurate stock holding.
Help to proactively identify and resolve Supply Chain issues related to packaging materials, taking corrective actions when necessary.
Maintain forecasts in the Bradburys Cheese ERP system Syspro for the customer(s) that you have been assigned to support.
Communicate effectively with contacts to make them aware of any shortages.
Collaborate with wider Supply Chain team, providing cover when required.
Knowledge, skills and abilities
Some prior experience in a Supply Chain, Operations or Planning role (1+ years) desirable but not essential.
Experience in FMCG business (desirable).
Able to work on their own for certain tasks but can also work effectively within a team.
Excel skills (beginner/ intermediate). Further training in this area will be provided.
Good communication skills (written and verbal).
Manages time effectively.
Some commercial acumen and understanding of the importance of excellent customer service.
Works to a high level of accuracy.
Clear thinker with an ability to identify potential issues and respond effectively.
