Job Description

Full time (37 hours per week)

Come make a real difference as our Scheme Coordinator

Everyone should have a warm, safe, affordable home. As a Scheme Coordinator you'll play a key role in helping us provide this for our HomePlus tenants.

You'll be responsible for managing some of our HomePlus schemes, providing additional support on everything from health and safety and tenancy issues to community activities and property adaptations.

What you'll bring to our team

As the friendly face of Two Rivers Housing, you'll use your skills and expertise to deliver a great customer experience for our HomePlus tenants. You'll work directly with partner agencies, inhouse teams, and friends and family to champion the needs of those on your scheme and be the first point of contact for queries and information. You'll spend your days in our communities making regular visits, organising events, and making sure our HomePlus schemes are vibrant, safe communities.

What we're looking for

Someone who puts tenants and communities at the heart of everything you do involving, informing, and communicating with tenants to provide a great service. Works well within their own team and can effectively engage with other teams, partners, and others to solve problems and find the best solutions. An understanding of the housing policy and practice, as well as appropriate landlord and tenant legislation and codes of practice.

Qualifications

Minimum of 4 GCSEs, grade C/4 or above or equivalent including Maths and English. Full UK driving licence and access to a car insured for business use.

People lie at the heart of Two Rivers Housing's success and we offer great rewards in return for great contributions from our staff.

We have always been deeply committed to training, motivating and developing our staff in a variety of ways, and our continuing focus on this has been recognised by several prestigious external organisations. We are particularly proud to have earned our place in the Sunday Times 'Top 100 Best Not for Profit Organisations to Work For' and we have held the Investors in People 'Gold' accreditation for several years now. We've also won awards for our apprenticeship training programme.

Here are just a few of the many reasons why we - and others - think Two Rivers Housing is an excellent organisation to work for.

We're a not-for-profit community association that makes a real difference to the lives of thousands of people. We work in a modern, environmentally-friendly office, which has been nationally-accredited for energy-efficiency, sustainability and workplace safety. We offer a flexible approach to working styles and work-life balance, including options to use our flexi-time scheme, agile working policies and our job-share and part-time contracts. We run employee engagement initiatives and a reward scheme to recognise individual and team contributions. We believe in having fun at work too! We run social events, summer barbecues, morning briefings with breakfast thrown in, an annual all-staff awayday and there's always a plentiful supply of cake to raise money for charity and celebrate special occasions! * We support every member of staff to provide one day each year to support community projects that are really valued by the organisations and charities we help through activities such as gardening, litter-picking and painting.
