We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Homeless Scheme Manager to oversee the operations of our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing high-quality care, particularly for individuals with addictions and mental health issues.
Responsibilities
You will play a crucial role in providing housing and support to individuals experiencing homelessness, managing services and supporting them to achieve independence.
You will provide daily communication with the residents and be responsible for assessing their daily needs and signposting information.
Manage daily operations of the scheme, ensuring efficient service delivery and adherence to health and safety regulations.
Foster a positive environment that promotes the wellbeing of residents and staff alike.
Liaise with healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate care for residents.
You will also report repairs and be responsible for the upkeep of the property and report to management where necessary
Experience
Proven experience in a managerial role within supported or homeless accommodation.
Strong background in addiction or mental health care is desirable
Demonstrated ability to lead effectively while promoting a culture of compassion and respect.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with residents, and colleagues.
